Presented as a 1940's-style radio drama, this heartwarming play is the perfect holiday outing for the entire family!Enjoy an evening of drama, radio jingles and holiday music! The magic includes Foley artists creating live sound effects on stage while actors, in period costumes, retell this inspirational story. Special performance on Monday December 6th in honor of Veterans.

Auditions
Auditions Oct. 4th 7pm to 9pm at the Page Walker Arts & History Center AND Oct. 5th 7pm to 9pm at the Cary Town Council Chambers 316 N. Academy St.You may attend both nights, but it is not required. Auditions will consist of cold readings from the script and each person will be asked to read a short paragraph. You may bring something you have prepared, but it does not have to be memorized. Monologues are not required. The director will want to hear your voice and any accents you like to do. Being able to look up from a page and letting the audience see your facial expressions is important!
- A perusal script will be available at the reference desk at the Cary Public Library on S. Academy beginning August 20th.
- If you would like to be considered for a Radio Gal, please prepare a short song.
- If you play a musical instrument that might have existed in the 1940s, bring it along!
- Be prepared to list any conflicts you have between October 16 and December 6.
- Minimum age to audition: 8

Radio Gals & Guys! Yes, we will be considering Radio Gals or Guys! A small group of individuals to sing 1940s style radio jingles and radio call letters. Please note, the Radio Singers will be part of the Town of Cary Holiday Tree Lighting Ceremony prior to the performance on December 4th.
