Mousetrap – Cary Players Announces First Responders Appreciation Night! - Archived

In appreciation of the many police, fire and EMS professionals and volunteers in the Cary area, Cary Players announces our First Responders Appreciation Night. We invite all first responders and their families to come see a special discounted performance of Agatha Christie’s The Mousetrap this Thursday night at 7:30pm at the Cary Arts Center. Tickets are only $15/each for first responders and their family members, if bought at the Town of Cary box office or at the door the night of the performance. In addition, $1 from the sale of each ticket will be donated to 200 Club of Wake Country, a non-profit organization which benefits the family members of fallen first responders.

The Mousetrap is the longest continuously running play in history and one of Agatha Christie’s most well-known murder mysteries. Directed by Tim Wiest, the play focuses on a snowbound cast of characters trapped in an inn with a murderer among them. But which guest is the murderer? The show opened to large audiences this past weekend as over a thousand people have already purchased tickets to see the final show of the Cary Players season. The Mousetrap has four more performances this coming weekend, beginning with the Thursday night special performance honoring our first responders.
