Cary Players Announces its 2017 – 2018 Season of Crowd-Pleasing Hits!
This fall, 1950’s New York City is the setting for the award-winning musical Guys and Dolls. With music and lyrics by Frank Loesser, the show includes catchy show tunes including “Luck Be a Lady” and “Sit Down, You’re Rockin’ the Boat.” Nancy Rich directs and choreographs this “musical fable of Broadway.”

Back by popular demand, Jean Shepherd’s A Christmas Story, written by Philip Grecian, will delight audiences of all ages this holiday season. Join Ralphie Parker on his quest to get a Red Ryder air rifle from Santa under the Christmas tree. Debra Grannan directs this fun-filled comedy, complete with Bumpus Hounds, major awards, frozen flag poles and a touching story about family, friendship and unforgettable Christmas memories.

Warm your heart in the ice-cold, mythical town of Almost, Maine this winter. Nine short vignettes explore love, loss and friendship with a touch of humor and tenderness. Written by John Cariani, Almost, Maine has been produced by over 2,500 theatre companies. Come let Cary Players help you brush off the winter doldrums with this delightful show directed by Randy Jordan.

Neil Simon’s celebrated triumph, Plaza Suite, is Cary Players’ season finale.
What does one do when the bride has locked herself in the bathroom? This is just one of the funny, but often poignant, portraits of three couples who have checked into New York City’s Plaza Hotel and learn that things don’t always go as planned. Laughter abounds on the seventh floor! Bruce Ackerman directs this classic comedy.

Season tickets are $66.00 for adults and $58.00 for students and seniors. Advance individual show tickets are $20.00 for adults and $18.00 for students and seniors.
