The awards committee has followed the process outlined in this document and is pleased to list the following worthy candidates. Full list of nominees will be announced over a period of time from now till the awards event. Winners have also been determined, but will not be announced until the Awards Event (September 25th at 7pm, Herb Young Community Center). Congratulations to all nominees. Cary Players had so much support, so much talent, and so many great people that it is impossible to recognize everyone. Wilson Pietzsch served on the Cary Players board of directors and acted in every production until his untimely death in 2006. The Pietzsch Awards, named in his honor, are designed to recognize individuals who exemplify Wilson's special blend of dedication, acting ability, volunteerism, and good humor. With these awards, Cary Players hope to build and maintain a tradition of community theater excellence for which Wilson set the standard.Previous Awards
